Functional Neurology: A Dynamic Way to Assess and Treat Brain Function

By Dr. Michael Veselak, D.C.

What is Functional Neurology?

Functional Neurology is a dynamic way to assess and treat the nervous system and brain function. As you are well aware the growing number of brain-related disorders are growing at an alarming rate. Conditions such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, ADHD and even Chronic Pain and Traumatic Brain Injuries can be traced back to the central nervous system.

In our clinic we address how the brain functions and integrate this with the metabolic function. The gut and brain axis is essential in maintaining proper gut and brain health. We work to restore this network and allow the body to ultimately repair itself.

The brain is neuroplastic and will in fact change given the correct stimulus. We utilize advance techniques utilizing vagal nerve stimulation, vibration therapy, sound; tone burst therapy, smell, eye exercises and integrative balance techniques to improve function.

Our success rate is due to the fact that we treat all of our patients from a neurological, structural and metabolic perspective.

Dr. Veselak has lectured extensively in his community on the Ageing Brain and techniques utilized to preserve it. He is currently a member of the International Academy of Functional Neurology Rehabilitation and is actively pursing his Diplomate in Functional Neurology.
